Book review Policy:
As you can imagine my TBR pile is MAHUSSIVE and increasing daily. I review books that I have bought as well as books sent to my by Publishers for an honest review. I read (or at least try to) across genres with a keen interest in:
- Teen/YA fiction:
- Fantasy
- Crime/Thriller
- Cookery ( this is a developing interest after my MasterChef AU addiction)
- Comics/Graphic Novels ( This is an area I am keen to get into please send ALL suggestions my way)
But do get in contact if you think you have an amazing book that I HAVE to read.
Though I prefer physical copies I am more than happy to read eBooks
As well as reviews I am also keen to get involved in Blog Tours, Interviews and other forms of PR, the more adventuring and exciting the better!
I am also available as a chair for book panels and have previously chaired: Scholastic's YA Cringe Fest, Dianna Galbaldon, Sarah Pinsbrough and ALi Land in Conversation, Isaac Marion and Adam Silvera
I can not 100% guarantee that I'll review every book I am sent but I am getting through my vast library as fast as I can. I have also decided this year to read an older book for every new book ( because I know I have some GEMS on my shelves that I'm missing out on). Reviews will be published on here, my blog, primarily and I will strive to also get them onto at least GoodReads.
Theatre Review Policy:
I am looking forward to finding new and exciting pieces of Theatre in all it's forms. I go to the theatre a lot myself an will be posting reviews of the shows I see. If you would like me to review your show please get in touch with a press release and any relevant information. I have particular interest in:
- Immersive Theatre
- Musicals
- Plays
- Plays with an LGBTQ focus
With any show I see I will strive to get the review up within 24 Hours of seeing the piece. Please can Press packs including photos be sent to me in advance of my seeing the performance. As I have a full time job I may not always be able to make a Press Night but will discuss this with you.
As well as reviews I am keen to feature interviews and interest pieces connected to the shows I am seeing, so get in touch if you have a piece that you feel will be right for the blog.
